The 206 range consists of three models
starting with the XR in five or three door configuration, then the five door XT
and the sporting flagship, the 206 GTI. The XR five door is powered by a willing and responsive 1.4 litre engine, returning flexible performance and excellent fuel economy thanks to an abundance of mid-range torque. The sporty XR three door is powered by a 80 kW, double ohc 1.6 litre, fuel-injected engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, and boasts an impressive level of standard equipment. Included as standard in both versions of the 206 XR are the following: air-conditioning, driver's airbag, power steering with height adjustable wheel, front electric windows, 6 speaker CD-sound system with remote audio stalk on the steering column, remote central locking, height-adjustable pyrotechnic front seatbelts, cloth trim, passive electronic engine immobiliser, a split-folding rear seat and rear fog light. The XR three door boasts an on-board trip computer to keep you up to date with important vehicle and journey data. |
